Co-creator of the project "With our feet on the ground" an activity in the forest with the purpose of celebrating nature
In the contemporary society, children have been losing their connection with the natural environment. This "Nature deficit" has had a less positive in their integral development. Nature, in addition to improving the physical and psychological condition of children, also has the virtue of constituting the best place for observation, experience and learning. Its stimuli and challenges offer the necessary pedagogical resources to educate in an integral, autonomous and stimulating way. It is therefore fundamental and urgent to reconnect children to Nature. With this activity we intend to foster interest, enthusiasm and knowledge for the conservation of Nature and sustainability, through the use of simple tools and natural resources, allowing through the playful component that children deepen their relationships with themselves, with others and with the natural environment. We also intend to encourage the acquisition of skills such as self-esteem, creativity and autonomy, endowing them with a positive and confident attitude , so that children grow up more aware, happy and capable of meeting the demands of the future. We want to grow, observe and learn from Nature, return to roots, and disconnect from what is superficial, learning to slow down the rhythm, breathe and simply be present.

Na sociedade contemporânea, as crianças têm vindo a perder a sua ligação com o meio natural. Este "défice de Natureza" tem tido um impacto menos positivo no seu desenvolvimento integral. A Natureza, além de melhorar a condição física e psicológica das crianças, tem ainda a virtude de constituir o melhor espaço de observação, experiência e aprendizagem. Os seus estímulos e desafios oferecem os recursos pedagógicos necessários para educar de uma forma integral, autónoma e estimulante. É então fundamental e urgente religar as crianças à Natureza. Pretendemos com esta atividade fomentar o interesse, o entusiasmo e conhecimento pela conservação da Natureza e pela sustentabilidade, através do uso de ferramentas simples e recursos naturais, permitindo, através da componente lúdica, que as crianças aprofundem as suas relações consigo próprias, com os outros e com o meio natural. Pretendemos também estimular a aquisição de competências como a autoestima, a criatividade e a autonomia, dotando-as de uma atitude positiva e confiante, para que cresçam mais conscientes, felizes e capacitadas para as exigências do futuro. Queremos crescer, observar e aprender com a Natureza, regressar às raízes e desligarmo-nos do que é superficial, aprender a abrandar o ritmo, respirar e simplesmente estar presente.
